Call for Presentations

You are invited to be a part of our exciting 2012 Ratemaking and Product Management (RPM) Seminar. The planning committee for the RPM Seminar is soliciting session proposals for presentations to be held in Philadelphia, PA, March 19 - 21. The RPM Seminar provides a forum for professional development in the areas of ratemaking/pricing, product management, product development and predictive modeling.

The following are suggested general themes/tracks for RPM Seminar sessions. These are simply broad guidelines; the committee welcomes ideas outside of these areas, provided they fall within the scope of RPM. The intent is to present various practical applications and insights across a broad spectrum of industry disciplines.

Important Details

  • If you include suggested speakers within your proposal, the committee highly encourages a diverse company representation on the recommended panel.
  • When you click on the link below to submit a session, you will be asked for a brief description (max of 400 words). If your proposal is accepted, you will work with an assigned committee member to provide a title and description of the session suitable for inclusion in marketing materials by 10/14/2011.
  • All speakers will be required to provide a copy of their presentation materials for review by 02/06/2012 to be made available online by 02/24/2012. (Deadlines may be subject to change throughout the planning process.

Online Submission Instructions & Guidelines

Sessions for the 2012 Ratemaking and Product Management Seminar will be entered using the Online CAS submission process. Below are instructions and guidelines for the process. Please note, ALL session submissions must be completed by the online deadline of 11:59pm PDT on Friday, August 19, 2011.

There are 4 steps to the online submission process, each step must be completed before you can advance to the next step:

  1. Session Title

    Enter the Session Title, Submitter's Email Address, Session Format, Session Track/Category, and Calculator Rating (if applicable)

  2. Speaker(s)

    Provide the names and personal contact information of the Moderator and Panelist(s), who are associated with the session.

    A session may have the following people associated with it:
        * Moderator - Maximum of 1 per session
        * Panelist(s) - Maximum of 5 per session

  3. Session Description

    *Session Description must be 400 words or less.
    *No images, tables and/or figures are permitted
    *The only text styles allowed in the Session Description are bold and italic
    *The following file types may be uploaded:
    • plain text document (*.txt)
    • HTML document (*.htm)
    • HTML document (*.html)
    Or simply cut & paste the text from your document file.

  4. Confirmation

    Make sure the information on the "Confirmation" page is correct. In addition, receipt of the Confirmation page does not guarantee that the submission was completed correctly, or free of errors. If necessary, changes can be made to the submission between now and the online deadline. Please note, the online system does not send an email confirmation upon completing the online submission process.
